Use UTILITY PASTURE MIXTURE for a good, all-around grass seed blend. Seed for livestock pastures and hay fields where no legumes are desired.
Seeding rate 40 to 50 lbs/acre.

Ultility Pasture is a mixture of annual ryegrass, perennial ryegrass , forage type tall fescue and orchardgrass. This is a great all around pasture blend for grazing and hay fields where no desired. The ryegrass gives quick establishment with lots of good nutritious forage.

The tall fescue orchardgrass a durable sod and good summer time forage. The mixture is designed to be used for many purposes from horses, cows, sheep, goats and is great for hay or grazing.

Annual Ryegrass -

Very similiar to perennial ryegrass, except it is an annual grass. Germinates rapidly and provides early growth. Used extensively for pasture, hay, silage and cover crops. Adapted to a wide range of soil conditions. Palatable

Perennial Ryegrass -

Palatable nutritious season bunchgrass often used on low soil with poor drainage, and on acidic soils. Does well in cool, moist regions with mild well on heavy soil. Tolerates heavy grazing. Tetraploid ryegrass are more vigorous and palatable varieties. early vigorous growth.

Forage type Tall Fescue-

palatability, excellent spring system produces a tough sod when seed thickly and grazed or mowed. It is tolerant of poor drainage, and is also drought resistant. abundant with irrigation Forage Fescue is adapted to a wide range of soil and climatic conditions .

Orchardgrass-

Annual Ryegrass

Rapid growing bunchgrass which as the ability poor soils. If adequantly fertilized, production is distributed well through the growing season. Withstands both heat and drought. Needs lime on acidic soils. Adapted areas and high rainfall mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
