General Description/History:
Monstera are very popular indoor plants and are known for their large glossy green leaves. These are very large, from 25-90 cm long and 15-75 cm broad, heart-shaped, leathery, dark green, and often have several holes in the leaf blade. Leaves are deeply cut, and combined with the holes that often appear, gives the leaf a shredded appearance. Stems are V-shaped, thick and up to 90 cm long.

Buy fresh, undamaged, green leaves;
- Avoid leaves with yellow marks.
Flower Care:
1. Keep cool at all times. These leaves are happy at room temperature, however, so refrigeration is not necessary.
2. Recut 1 to 2 cm off each leaf and place in water immediately.
3. A preservative is not necessary
4. Add a half cap of bleach to the vase
5. Replace vase water with fresh water every 2 days.
