General Description/History:

Kaffir lime leaves are hourglass shaped and look like two glossy green leaves attached end to end.

They are very popular in Thai cuisine, also used in Indonesian, Cambodian and to a lesser extent, Vietnamese dishes.

They have a sharp acidic lime flavour.

They are available: all year round.
